Sorry, but I disagree. I've owned other Lenovo (by targus) laptop cases. And the quality has been above par.
Samsonite undoubtedly makes good products, but I'm sure their product quality varies across the board based on how much you're willing to pay.. just like other manufacturers.

Anyway, I'd love some pictures and impressions if anyone here owns this particular backpack.

It's nice to see Amazon have some better pictures. I didn't even really consider the Lenovo cases because they had tiny pics at the Lenovo online store (at least the Canadian one--I didn't check the US store). That looks fairly nice.

As an alternative, I bought one of these: http://www.amazon.com/Targus-Chroma...2?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1271794642&sr=1-2 (Not from Amazon but from another Canadian seller.) It fits my T510 (with 9-cell battery) like a glove, and it's compact yet spacious. Also very light-weight and comfortable to wear.

many of the branded bags are made by Targus too.... most of the HP is. Personally i prefer Samsonite bag if you can get them.

Obviously there are many expensive ones, but they offer little value for the extra features most user never uses.
