    - DVD Recordable 8x Max Dual Layer w/ SW Royalty for Windows 8
    - 6 cell Li-Ion Battery 62WH - 75+
    - Intel Centrino Wireless-N 2230 & Bluetooth 4.0 (2x2 BGN & BT4)

The specs are rather high end and certainly look good, it looks based on the other thread that you've settled on the Core i7, can't fault you there so long as price isn't too much different. The 1TB hard drive spinning at 5400RPM is slow, but the 24GB cache should offset that. The price seems a little high to me for an Edge, but coming from the U.S. prices over here tend to be 10 - 20% less for comparable systems in Europe so it's probably a deal in your neck of the woods. The Edge build quality is not on par with that of the equivalent ThinkPad T531, but if you'll be using the Edge E531 on a desk for the most part then that's not too much of a concern.
