I've been waiting for the L450 to go up so that I can price one out to replace my T410. It's docked most of the time, so I don't need rugged.

Anyway, I priced it out on the Canadian site (i5-5200U, 4GB, 1080p) and it came to the exact same price as a T450 with the same specs (with exception of the screen 1080p IPS vs 900p TN). I was hoping for some savings over a T450. Might as well go with a T450 and upgrade the screen myself.

Hmm, same thing with the US site.

What's the point of the L-series if they are the same price as the T-series.

The L series finally gets some IPS love. The L450 was about $175 cheaper than the T450s for me, though the T450s has the better i5 CPU, which I don't really care about. I could see the L450 in my future. It's light, about 4.25 pounds, proper trackpint buttons, IPS, M.2 SSD, etc. I'd probably wait for the outlet pricing before buying. I did get it down to $750 using coupon code SAV5THINKPAD.
