    Hello!

I own a Lenovo ThinkPad L540 upgraded to 8GB RAM with the exactly same model it had in the 4GB slot, and replaced HDD with an OCZ Agility 3 at 120GB.

My problem is that lately in Windows 10, I have noticed that my battery life dropped to like 1-2 hours instead of the 5-6 I was getting in windows 8.1. Additionally, whenever I put the laptop to sleep, like 15 minutes after, it is ready to make an omelette if you drop eggs on it and half the battery is drained.

Does anyone know of any way to resolve this problem? I might have to revert to windows 8.1 if this keeps going on.

Hi again! In case anyone happens to run into the same issue, I managed to solve this problem by reinstalling Windows 10 from scratch this time; clean install and not the upgrade from Windows 8.1. Battery life back to 4-6 hours, no problems with computer sleeping and heating and battery dying.

New issue though: Windows recognizes my Fingerprint device, shows Windows Hello option to add fingerprint, I add fingerprint successfully but it never manages to give me the option to log in with it...
