Looking for the ThinkPad Logo Font. Found that it's Helvetica here but I can't seem to get it to look right.

I'm making a banner, wallpaper, and other stuff in preparation for my laptop, and I was going to make a custom name (SlinkPad, with a Maple Leaf to dot the i, nickname is Slink, cause I bounce when I walk, if you were wondering where SlinkPad came from.) but it just doesn't look correct.

Not Helvetica. More like Impact Condensed.

I know you're looking to make a custom logo, but I came a across someone who made their own Thinkpad logo. It's great if you want to take a wallpaper and then just add the logo. It doesn't work on white backgrounds as the letters are white......

Any idea who made that? As I'd assume they know the font and styling.

Yeah, Haettenschweiler. (Used to be bundled with Windows NT, 2000 and XP.)

Sounds like a fun idea. just be careful about trademarking. As in, be careful where you post any final results.

It's either Swiss 911 or Helvetica. Thank you for pointing out Swiss 911.

EDIT: Got It. Check my avatar :p
