    Hello,
I've installed my new Dock today with my W520 but for some reason neither windows or ubuntu is detecting/displaying anything on the screen.

i went to the BOIS and changed the display to show the boot on the Display port 1 and it shows the boot on the monitor just fine, but inside the OSes it doesn't

what i'm missing to have it detected into the OS ?

    Thanks

found the solution, since i'm running on NVidia under System -> Administration -> Nvidia X server settings , you can enable things and configure things way advanced compared to the default ubuntu's Monitors menu :)

    Thanks
