Hi all,
I Have a ThinkPad R50 1830-EM4. I recently replaced my motherboard due to it being faulty. I replaced it with a motherboard from a ThinkPad R50 1829-6DM. It is working fine, but every time I move/maximise/minimise windows, in XP, it makes a High Pitch Sqealing noise (strange noise like a rapid series of very short high pitch noises adding to a constant kind of whistling - only as long as the movement goes and the screen is on). What could be causing this noise?? It is quite annoying and I would like to get rid of it.
The noise starts as soon as I install the Video Drivers
I have tried tried installing the Omega drivers - no luck,
Also I reduced the noise a bit by disabling Hardware Acceleration,
Any help would be appreciated: I am also willing to answer any questions
