Ran some test on my T61p.

1 hour power test that stresses CPU and GPU at same time.

    How are the temps?

85 is pretty hot for the CPU. On Everest, my cpu only reaches 67 degrees under 100% load.

Prime95 temp is slighty higher, at 68

Also stress testing for an hour isnt long enough. I usually stress it for 6 hours or before I make any assumptions on stability

Edit: This shows the thermal limit of your duo core. Its rated at 85.

OCCT seems to stress the CPU quite a bit more than Prime95.

While testing with Prime95 my T9300 is right around 68.

prime95 is a good stress test. If it can pass it I think your set. 68 degrees is not too bad

I ran Prime95 for over 15 hours. Just finished the test.

After around 6 hours the temps started to come down and settled around 60 degrees.

Had the heat sink and fan replaced a few days ago. Looks like the thermal paste cured in and lowered the temps.

Over 15 hours of testing still didn't get the CPU as hot as 1 hour of OCCT GPU and CPU test.

It's because Prime95 only tests the CPU. The CPU and GPU are tied to the same heatpipe exhaust system so it only makes sense that the temps overall would increase when stress testing both simultaneously.

Yes I forgot about that. I dont know much about OCCT software. To OP, your temps are very good. Be proud of it.
