    ThinkPad T400 energy switching problem!!

    Hi, I'm new to this forum. I have this problem with my new T400. Sometimes it would not switch between my energy profile and graphic cards. This almost never happens after I restart, but it seems to occur often when I run hard softwares such as Premiere Pro or games. SOMETIMES it will switch after I close the software, other times I have to do a full restart. (logging off and on doesn't work)

    Also, Lenovo's power manager takes FOREVER to startup! my other startup apps are quick, but for some reason I think power manager is stalling!

    You can't switch in the middle of a program or a game. You must close the program/game then switch.

    It still doesn't work, sometimes I have to restart the machine to be able to switch again.
