From the reviews I've read, and tabook, I've seen height measurements ranging from 27mm to 40mm. What I'm looking for is the height of the laptop when CLOSED (so, including the lid), and not counting the rubber feet on the base.

What's the actual height? Some pictures with would great. :) (height at back and height at front).

Best case, if somebody has a T410, a nice set of digital vernier calipers, and a camera, I would love a pair of pics measuring that thickness, one on the front of the laptop, and one on the back.

    Thanks all.

The NBR review of the T410 says it is 1.09-1.26”. This measurement is with the lid closed and without counting the rubber feet, to the best of my knowledge. The thinnest part is the front end of the machine (1.09"), and the thickest is the rear (1.26").

1 1/4 inches is not that thick, but it seem thick to me on most reviews.

    Thanks eyusuf and darkwish! :)

Based on that, it's not too thick for me ... I was originally eyeballing the T400s/T410s, but the price is just too much for me, especially when I factor in the 1.8" drive situation.

The T410 does look a lot thicker in all of the reviews I've seen, glad to know it's not as thick as I thought.

T410 looks like a winner to me. :)
