Does anyone know the difference between t43 and t30. Is any difference in appearance?

SpacemanSpiff Everything in Moderation
Appearance ? Not sure about that.
Internally, the T4x series have a Pentium M, while the T30 has a Pentium 4--a lot more heat needs to be disipated in the T30.
I think T30s were only built for a short while--2002 to 2003. -
T43 is a much better notebook. T30s have issues with the memory slots. They run warmer due to the P4. If you are going to go old school, I think the T23 is a better option.

I agree...if you can get an old school Thinkpad, make sure it's a T23. Otherwise, it better be a T4x series.
The T43 is a much better than machine than the T30... zazonz and SpacemanSpiff have made their points. -
it seems that it is common sense that T23 is a legend, a classic, especially handfeel of its keyborad.
u know, it is quite "unreasonable" and remarkable that people nowadays still remember it, moreover, willing to get it.
ThinkPad T43 and ThinkPad T30.
