    Hi,

I may consider getting the X220T but I was wondering about how the hinge system holds in the long run. Do people with X200T or X201T have any experience of failure/breakage?

I heard the X201T had a loose hinge. What about the X220T?

Does the screen "cable" support years of screen rotation in the hinge? I plan to keep the laptop for at least 6-7 years (my current MSI S260 is 6 years old and still runs fine)

Can you actually renew the hinge assembly if it gets loose or broken?

    Thanks

Just get a warranty with it.

As for my X201T, after a year of daily swiveling the hinge, everything works perfectly. Hinge isn't loose.

My X200T was the same, worked great no issues.
