    Hi Everyone,

I just reformatted my T61p due to some encryption trial and error, hehe :D

Well anyway it's nothing i haven't done on this machine before (a clean install) so i just had some quick peeks in the guide here to make sure i hadn't forgotten anything and went on to do it.

Now my computer works fine and i even found my Vista Ultimate-licsense so now i have those functions as well.

There are however one little issue and that is as follows:
    Some of the hotkeys (Fn+F2, Fn+F3, Fn+F5, Fn+F7, Fn+F8, Fn+F9 and Fn+F12) doesn't work,
    However for example Fn+Space , Fn+F4 and Fn+End n Fn+Home works flawlessly.
They simply won't espond and i have now lost count of how many times ive reinstalled the Hotkey-drivers, anyone has an idea?

    Any help is greatly appreciated!
    Thnx in advance.

    Hi, thanks for the info.

However i'm unable to find a driver with that name. I did find one System Interface driver but that i aldready have installed aand re-installed.

Anyone that can think of any other possibility, or a certain order in which to reinstall?

    Once again thanks.

Call support or you can reinstall everything from scratch?

I think the service that is responsible for those functions is called the Thinkpad PM Service. As for which driver installs that service, I have no idea.

Yupp, i know the PM Service controls at least the F3 and F4 functions, it is installed via the Power management service, which i have installed :)

EDIT: Apprently i only had the software installed. Not the driver, which was a separate file under another headline on lenovos page.

Now it all works it looks like :D

    THANKS!
