I got a MX 518 mouse and decided to Install the SetPoint software that came with it. Ever since I installed it the volume buttons on my ThinkPad keyboard aren't functioning well. The mute button doesn't work at all, and when I use the volume controls the visual volume meter that used to pop up doesn't appear on my screen at all.

I uninstalled SetPoint and tried to do a system recovery as well but these didn't help.

What should I do/what drivers should I look for to reinstall to get everything working exactly as they did before. BIOS?

    OS is 64-bit Vista.

Look for the On-Screen-Display drivers - these control the notifications for volume/mute/screen brightness.

The Lenovo Hotkey utility is always an adventure. I had to deal with something similar last week.

Since the download package is the same for 7 and Vista for both the T500 and W700, I presume the steps should be the same as well. This is what worked for me, and it was by far the most frustrating part of doing a clean install of Windows 7. Completely uninstall all components of the Hotkey Features Integration package, then reinstall in the following order, one-by-one, exiting and restarting the installer for each item:

    System Interface Driver
    AutoScroll Utility
    FullScreen Magnifier/On Screen Display

I recall the magnifier requires the OSD or vice versa, so you basically end up installing both at the same time, but that should be last. The W700 may get the option to install the Display Utility as well. I don't know in what order that should be installed, but On Screen Display should still be last. If you were to follow the installer's default order and installed them all at once, OSD would get installed first or second before the interface driver.
