This is a pretty sweet deal on the X120e at WalMart.com:

Walmart.com: Lenovo Black 11.6" Thinkpad X120E/0596 Laptop PC with AMD Fusion E-350 Processor and Windows 7 Home Premium: Computers

    $298.98 for the following config:

    Model: ThinkPad X120E/0596
    Screen: 11.6” 1366 x 768 resolution
    Processor: AMD Fusion E-350 1.60GHz
Graphics: AMD Radeon HD 6310 Graphics
RAM: 2GB DDR3 SDRAM system memory (upgradeable to 8GB)
    Storage: 320GB hard drive
    Ports: 3 x USB 2.0 ports, 1 x microphone/speaker combo jack, 1 x RJ-45 Ethernet port, 1 x HDMI 1.3 port, 1 x VGA port
    Slots: 4-in-1 memory card reader
Battery: 6-cell lithium-ion battery, up to 6 h battery life
    Warranty: 1-year warranty

Store pickup is free or ship to home is $0.97. With taxes it should come to around $320, unless you live in a sales tax free state like Delaware or Oregon.

WOW great price. I really like my x120e. I'm surprised though. the X130e does not really seem like a replacement for Lenovo's netbook series. The X130e is a child's computer with good specs.

A ridiculously good price on a very nice ultraportable. It's even less than I price-glitched it for back with the Adobe Acrobat X pricing error! :p

I just pulled the trigger on this. I suppose that if I'm not pleased with it I can return it. I was eyeing the x130e with the i3 yesterday but it's $220 and 1 lb. more!

Or even potentially sell it on eBay for more than you bought it for, if you're willing to deal with that hassle.

I made the purchase too :D

I'm only finding $368.88 for pricing at Walmart.
Maybe I'm missing something simple, how do you get the $298.98 price?

They're holding up my order because my credit card's billing address doesn't match my shipping address. If they cancel my order and I lose this price I'm going to slit my wrists!!!

There's another deal for the X120e at Walmart.com but slightly different, for $340 you get the X120e + Free Printer + Free 4gb flash drive + Free sleeve.

Walmart.com: Tax Time Laptop Bundle with Your Choice Laptop, Case, Flash Drive & Printer: Computers

They're calling it a "tax time bundle". Ironically there are no 12" sleeves available in the bundle, just 15.6" or larger. I think most will take this deal and try and sell the accessories on Craigslist/eBay to try and make it a better deal. I don't think you'd get more than $50 for all the stuff though, so I'd call this deal not as good since it involves more hassle.

Great news. And don't forget to pickup some milk and bread at the same time you're there for the X120 :p

Somewhere along the line I became numb to the fact purchasing cool technology from Wal Mart would have seemed like an oxymoron, border line ridiculous thought, just a few years back.

Yeah, I would have never found that deal if hadn't been for this thread. Thanks for the heads up Andrew. I was going to buy an x120e anyway and this was a spectacular deal.

Now I just have to hunt around for some accessories. First up, I suppose, is a sleeve and/or bag and a RAM upgrade of some sort. Find any hot deals on that sort of thing?
