This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     thank you for posting the links...my x61s battery died prematurely and was out of warranty despite me purchasing a 3 year warranty. I called them 7 days ago and told me I was SOL. The links sent me to a program which confirmed mine was bad, and they are sending me a new one (hopefully another 8 cell). Anyone want a new slim-line battery I just ordered as a replacement prior to this?
