Hi everyone,
I'm considering to buy the ThinkPad X61 Tablet, but I got some problem with the Video Resolution. I need a resolution MORE than 1024x768.
By customizing this laptop from the Lenovo website, Ive got the two following options:
1) 12.1" SuperView WVA SXGA+ TFT, 2x3 UltraConnect II antenna
2) 12.1" MultiView + MultiTouch WVA XGA TFT
If Ive understood well, the first option has got a resolution of 1400x1050 and it will be ok, but is not touch screen, is it? I mean, I can always use the pen as input?
The second one seems perfect for a tablet laptop but it has got 1024x768 and it is really espensive (you have to add almost $500 and the resolution will be decreased...).
What is the real difference between these two options concerning the multi touch applications? Also the first one can be considered a touch screen or not?
Thanks.

The SXGA+ screen is not multitouch so you can only use the pen.

Thank you ZaZ!
Another thing before to proceed with the buy...
I was thinking to buy also the media base and the DVD writer from the Lenovo website, my shopping cart states:
Mobile media base: ThinkPad X6 Tablet UltraBase
Media base bay devices: DVD Recordable 8x Max Dual Layer, Ultrabay Slim
I dont understand this means that there will be only one mobile media base equipped with the DVD Recordable too? Or these are two separate media bases?
Thanks again -
There will be one dock with a modular drive.
