    Hi guys,

I have a quick question. I am thinking about buying a Lenovo ThinkPad Z61m, but I am a little weary about the screen. For those of you who have one or know, is it bright enough and clear enough. I have seen a Dell Truelife screen, which are very nice. How does the Lenovo compare? Any thoughts would be great!

    Thanks,
    Jordan

I would try and find the maxbright option on the screen. I don't know if Lenovo has any in stock right now. At any rate the screen is 300 nits, the same as the well talked about MacBook Pro. Its looks like it should be a great screen and plenty bright enough, like sun tan bright :)

Is it only the MaxBrite screen that is 300 nit. I thought the normal one was 200 nit. At any rate, what is the difference between 200 and 300 nit? And how does that compare with other companies?

TrueLife is a glossy screen whereas the Z61m is matte. They are two different types of screens so it is hard to compare. I thought the Z61m screen was clear and bright.
