    Attached are specs for ThinkPad Z61t / Z61m to be released 5/16

    Also attached are specs for the ThinkPad R60, to be released 5/16 also.

    So, this seems pretty much official that the new updates are coming out on the 16th. The Z61m looks to be all I hoped it would be and I'm happy I waited for it.

    My question is: at the end of the month, prices on the dual core processors are going to drop as well. Should I buy the Z61m on the 16th when/ if it is released OR should I wait until the end of May/ beginning of June and hope the price drops when the prices on core duals drop OR should I buy it on the 16th and if the prices drop at the end of the month get a price adjustment?

    A few other questions:
    1) Does EPP also apply to newly released products?
    2) On the Z61m, the 9- cell battery Titanium version has two weights shown in the image above. Can someone explain to me what the two are (like starting and max weight possible or something along those lines)?

    the weight is with and without the optical drive (traveler's drawer)

    epp should apply to the new models. I plan on emailing my lenovo friend tomorrow. Probably order in a month or so after I see some reviews.
