    ThinkPad battery options

    I'm a bit confused by the battery options for the T60 -- did I read that it's possible to use a media bay for a second battery? If so, how is battery life with that option?

    The Ultrabay battery gives me about an hour+ more time. But then again, I've got a 15" screen and a x1400, both of which are guzzlers. If you're goin for a 14" with the GMA950, you could considerably get more battery life out of the Ultraslim battery (probably 2hrs?). That coupled with the 6-7 hours you can possibly get out of a 9-cell (on a 14" T60 w GMA950), you can hope to expect close to 8-9 hrs of battery life maximum if you get both the 9-cell and the ultrabay battery.

    So there's no free media bay, though, right? So you would have to remove the DVD burner to insert battery?
