This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Hi...

    Interesting article I came across today in one of the Indian papers. Seems like there are moves afoot to leverage the Thinkpad brand equity in India, which is good news as long as the prices are somewhat normalized and the product offerings are made comparable to what is available in other markets (unlikely though!)

    Well it is not really a big surprise with the release of the Thinkpad X100e and Edge laptops... hopefully this will not dilute the core attribute of Thinkpads, which is quality and reliability.
