This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Hey neat. They didn't ask me. I don't really care but it would have been nice if they could ask to use my picture. At least they linked to the thread.

    there's no excuse for using people's photos without express permission, especially given the speed and ease of communication these days (let alone copyright laws like the DMCA).

    i made a comment about the photo but it's stuck in moderation.   even if it doesn't post publicly, ian (the owner of that site) will have to read it.

    update: it looks like both jared and i commented.   ian replied and said he'd take care of it.

    Now Engadget has linked to your thread as well. At least Engadget uses their own image (which shows an X200 prototype with trackpad).
