    Hi all,

I am debating if I'd like to retain Access Connection in my new T510. I use my laptop primary between my home (WIFI, WPA encrypted) and my work in a research institute(WIFI, WPA encrypted). None of them are those 'corporate secured' networks. Occasionally I travel a bit and would like to get on WIFI during conferences.

So my dilemma is, the windows 7 default WIFI/network management tool seems to work for me in most circumstances, albeit simple without a lot of bells and whistles. Does Access Connection offer any features, functions that the default windows 7 utility does not have? And under what circumstances are those extra function useful? I do appreciate the graphical interface showing the proximity of access points and strength in number %.

I'm more towards getting rid of Access Connection if the advantage thus provided is not that great.

    Thanks!

    Campion

The latest version of Access Connections has a range/strenght guage. IMO would use TV instead of Windows.
