This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    ThinkVantage Toolbox spam

    How do you prevent these messages from popping out at the bottom of the screen? It's very annoying.

    I'd like to keep it as I like the other diagnostic options and how it shows up the warranty. But if there's no other way, uninstall it will be. :)

    Right click on the toolbar and go to toolbar at the top of the menu. On the cascade menu, uncheck Lenovo Thinkvantage Toolbox. Close the menu. A popup will show up and select "I don't want to receive notifications at this time." When you want to run the toolbox, just manually run it.

    No problem. Took me a while to figure it out too before but like you, I can't stand those notifications!
