    Thinking of buying a T61 (15") as a 'project'

    So im thinking of picking up a T61 15" for about 100$ to use as a secondary/build laptop. I'd look at T500's but they always seem to cost 100$ more, and that money would be better off for upgrades...

    I heard that this laptop has faulty nvidia cards and i should stick to Intel ones. So with that out of the way, what can I consider for some upgrades?

    SSD will be a must.

    more RAM will be nice, i assume DDR2.

    Does the T61 support ultrabay batteries? Also thinking of picking up a 9cell.

    I assume a CPU upgrade would be worth. T9800? T9900? X9000? Flash the middleton BIOS?

    Which panels should i get? I'd probably want a 1920x1200 one...

    Also can the lowly GMA x3100 play 1080p video when paired with the above CPUs? I wont be gaming on the thing at all but watching Netflix would be nice.
