Thinking of selling my Dell Latitude D630 and going the IBM/Lenovo way and buy an X61. Questions:

    1. Can the DVD Recordable Ultrabay Slim be connected to the laptop using a USB cable? Or does it have to be utilize using the ThinkPad X6 UltraBase?

    2. I will be ordering 2 batteries. Should I just go 4 or go 8 cell? How much of a weight diff is there?

    3. ThinkPad Serial ATA Hard Drive Bay Adapter. That's only for 2.5" drive I assume?

    4. With the ThinkPad X6 UltraBase, I can plug in the extra battery, DVD Recordable Ultrabay Slim, and ThinkPad Serial ATA Hard Drive Bay Adapter all at the same time?

    Thanks.
