I'd been waiting in hopes of a 14.1" WXGA+ in the T61p but am losing interest in waiting much longer. The only game I've really ever played is WoW and I'd imagine the 140m is sufficient, though I hope to never play again. I'm basically just aiming at a computer I can use for 3-4 years, primarily for paper writing, internet, and spreadsheet work. Maybe an occasional attempt at a game. What do you think? Go with this, make changes to this, or wait/cross fingers on 14.1" wxga+ t61p?
(I know the battery is a "poor choice", but I plan on using the 4 cell on a daily basis and buying a separate 7 cell for times when it might be necessary.
Also gona upgrade to 4gb ram on my own.

Looks good. WoW would run fine. You'd probably have to go with integrated graphics if you wanted to assure that you won't play it again. =)

The battery choice is very poor. Mainly because 7 cell batteries, separately, are a ton of money. Like 120-160. You should buy it now.

More than once on this forum, I've read that Lenovo have no plans in the immediate (nor medium) horizon to introduce any such 14.1" widescreen T61 "p" model.
Thinking of pulling the trigger on this
