    I believe the price is good til 11:59PM PST on Thursday, 12/16/2010.

    I'm fighting the urge to not bite as I don't need another notebook but that price is super tempting. Wonder how compatible this model is with Ubuntu (so I can load it to poke around).

    In stock for me. With an Intel WiFi card and GPU I'd say this does Linux pretty well.

    Saw this yesterday night, pretty awesome deal, considering that it is an Intel variant with an Intel WiFi card! Equivalents from other manufacturers run in the $500-800 range.
