How easy would it be to replace the
Intel PRO/Wireless 3945ABG Mini-PCI Express Adapter in my T61p for the
ThinkPad 11a/b/g Wireless LAN Mini-PCI Express Adapter? Is there a guide on how to do this? Will it void the warranty?

Well, it is easy, just unscrew the keyboard/memory screws on the backside, and then you will see the card at the top side. Unplug the antennaa by grasping the metal connectors (not the wire), and then unscrew the card (make sure to shield your screw-driver with your fingers so you don't slip and poke the components.)
