I am in the process of removing some software that I do not use, I have a 200gb 7200GB Travelstar hard disk and only have about 30G left. While removing some software that I rarely use, I realized that the Thinkpad A/B/G/N Lan Adapter Software takes 1.79 GB of hard disk space according to the Program Uninstall in Vista. Is this normal? It seems like its taking up a lot of space. Is this necessary for my Atheros WIFI card to be operable?

    I have a T61p 14.1 SXGA+

    Thanks
