I have ThinkPad T60. 64 MB ATI Radeon X1300 with 80 GB 6400 rpm HD.
I see horizontal line before window welcome screen loads and the line disappears. I sent my laptop to IBM repair center and had the system board replaced twice. I keep telling them that the problem is with LCD. They do not want to replace the LCD saying that there is nothing wrong with it. I even connected my laptop to an external Samsung monitor and do not see the horizontal line.
Has anyone encountered this type of problem before?

    Thank you in advance

Do you think that this has nothing to do with the LCD?
