Is it possible to buy a drive caddy for a T42 or buy a cd-rom drive and replace it with a dvd burner? Was thinking of getting a T42 with no hard drive, memory or optical drive. The drives on IBMs website are expensive. Their dvd burner is $400 and only -R and RAM. If I could buy a caddy or use an existing one it would be much cheaper and better. Any help greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the reply. Basically what I want to do is buy a NEC-6500A and stick it in a drive caddy so I can use it in a modular t42 bay. I looked on Ebay, I saw a lot of hard drive caddies but not dvd caddies and not for t42. If you could point one out much appreciated.
