    Hi guys,
    I wanted to know your experiences/menings about this brand Lenovo Thinkpad Edge 15" with Intel i3 or i5. I am about to choose a new laptop and I like to know your meanings about this brand. I am not going to use the laptop for games, only for the daily work, and see some movies once in a while.
    What I am interested to know whether there are problems with its component after it is used, such as battery, monitor, or any crucial parts that you might have experience with it.

    Thanks in advance

    If you haven't already, I would check out NBR review of the laptop: Lenovo ThinkPad Edge 15 Review

    Build quality seems to be a lot lower than the Edge 14 and 13 and far lower than traditional Thinkpads. But for the price, the Edge series aren't that bad.

    Just as a side note; Few people on here have Edge laptops.

    Just get the 14" one which are more compacted and that make it feel more durable.

    Ideapad = Ideabad!

    Also Edge ain't "True" Thinkpad, i.e. doesn't have the rollcage (so does SL and L series) Thinkpad laptops are well-known for.

    Get a T510 when T520 is released, you'll get it for a good price by then. :D

    T410 isnt true ThinkPad either, it doesnt have roll cage in top of the screen, makes it 50% ThinkPad only.

    I own an Edge, but only the Edge 13, w/ SU7300, I love it, performance-wise it's fine for normal tasks. Build quality for a 13", one of the best imo, and the best keyboard ever.

    I guess I wait a bit longer to see if the new models are better than the existing ones, otherwise I go for an ASUS.
