Lenovo ThinkPad Edge 11 announced with Intel and AMD options, denied US citizenship -- Engadget
Possibly the Intel equipped x100e we've all been wishing for. Too bad it won't be shipping in the US.
Engadget also has a review posted. Seems they got 5.25 hours of battery life on regular use.

another bad thing its a glossy screen.

I'd definitely like to check one of these out...
It's kind of funny, the last two laptops that really peaked my interest are not available here. (Acer 3820TG and this one.) -
Acer 3820TG is a real piece of junk, my friend got one in China and it started to fall apart after 2 weeks of purchase and have been back to repair depot more than 10 times since the purchase with various hardware problems. In the end he returned it and got a second hand X301.

Dagnabbit. Lenovo finally makes the machine I've wanted, and then won't sell it in the US. The 13 is the form factor I originally wanted, but the existing Edge 13 is pretty weak and so I was looking at the 14 (better battery life, CPU, etc) .. but then they offer this 11 with pretty much the sweetspot of features I want. Now if only I can find a way to get one..

Thinkpad Edge 11 looks quite charming with its diminutive size.

Who wants to buy the Edge 11, take out all of the components so I can put it in my x100e?

I guess i should of kept that X301 for myself, since i found it and arranged for the warranty repair. -
Thanks for the video, Jayayess1190.
Looks very nice. It has an Intel processor AND HDMI? WANT! -
Who knows, maybe there will be an X100e with an Intel processor soon and that's why they're not releasing the Edge 11 in the U.S. Doubt it, but wishful thinking. Definitely more interesting than the X100e and only the second 11" laptop I know of with a pointing stick.

Lenovo - Laptop computers - ThinkPad Edge Series - Buy Direct - United Kingdom (GB)
Looks like it is available in the UK.. I hope it is. -
If it didnt have that terrible keyboard flex under the enter key,it wouldnt be too bad of a laptop to rival the walmart branded HP crap -
Kind of put me off TBH, can get the m101z with the k125 for £379, or the dual core k325 for £429, including shipping.
