Hi,
So I have decided to get a Thinkpad Edge 14 but I need help deciding on the processor:
Option 1- AMD Phenom II X3 Triple-Core P840 with ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4250
Option 2- Intel Core i5-480M Processor (2.66GHz, 3MB L3, 1066MHz FSB) with Integrated Mobile Intel 5 Series GFX Chipsets
Both options work out to be around the same price so basically if you were going to choose one of these options which one would you go for, which one's best?
Thanks for your help.

I'd go the i5 route. The AMD P's are pretty horrible, compared to the i5-480M, it's like night and day.

Since there is no price difference, the i5 hands down.

As much as I would like AMD to be succeed, the Intel is better for general computing and it also not as power hungry.
-
Maybe wait for the new SB models?
One has surfaced:
Newegg.com - lenovo IdeaPad Y560p (4397-23U) NoteBook Intel Core i7 2630QM(2.00GHz) 15.6" 4GB Memory DDR3 1066 500GB HDD 5400rpm DVD±R/RW AMD Radeon HD 6570M -
I guess it's pretty unanimous, i5 it is.
Thanks for the advice.
