    Hello everyone,

    I have a Thinkpad Edge 15 ( the first generation aka E50 ).

I just learnt about the feature known as battery stretch found on the other thinkpads. I have the latest version of Power Manager ( 6.40) but I don't have the option to enable it. Battery stretch is just not there.

I really would need the feature to disable all useless background services to save battery life.

I have a feeling that this is just a software limitation , and if someone knows how to make it available, i'd be sooo grateful!

Or else, are there any alternatives to that feature on the web?

    Thank you

Can someone with a battery stretch capable laptop show me a view of the registry values corresponding to the path shown in the screenshots of REGEDIT please?

I'm ready to mess with it! Thanks!

    Edit:

I really want to see if it's not a soft-locked feature so that everyone else can also benefit from it.
    Someone please? :)

Okay so I did it! I successfully added the feature.

Just set the ExtremeBatteryLife to 1 !

And there you go, you have the thinkpad attery stretch ;)
