    Very cool stuff. You have to wonder if IBM rents out the testing equipment to other company's to run tests with themselves. Stuff like the sound measure room is WAY over the top for just finding out if something is at 35 or 36db. Pretty nifty though.

    Anyone else think its funny that all the signs are in English? Put there for PR or is that actually the language of the plant?

    What I think is more funny is the fact that they've got signs written in japanese and not in Chineese or so. I thought they had moved their whole assembly line to China.

    Am I wrong, or are those images simply old? (I didn't know they assembled ´em in Japan though)

    Yes, as far as I know the assembly lines have been moved to SHENZHEN china.Today, most of the notebook products of IBM is made in china. My T43 is made in china, what about yours'.
