I have a Lenovo T60 (200772U). For the first few weeks after my purchase there was no noticeable fan noise. Recently I have had to contend with the fan turning itself on and off every so often, and making some noise (not that loud but discernable nontheless). I am unsure as to why this is the case. Thoughts? Any settings affect this?

So you've owned it for about a month? Have you blown the dust out of the vent holes?
