    Pre-purchase question:

I got the T4XX series thinkpad. I purchased it without a WWAN card because they were not offered when I made the configurations. Now I noticed they are selling WWAN cards separately in the lenovo accessories. I am referring to this:

I am wondering if this AT&T 3G BroadBand WWAN card (43R9152) is GPS capable? I read somewhere it has to be the ericsson F3507g card. I am wondering if this is it?

Also, how hard is it to install by yourself? I took a glance @ the website, just under the keyboard, screw it in plug in wires and good to go? Do I need to install anything?

    Cheers.

Is your laptop WWAN upgradeable? Does it have the antennae? If it does, I would get the new GOBI 2000 Lenovo Part# 78Y1398. The Gobi card has a lot more features than the ericsson card. It has both Verizon and ATT chipsets.
I'm a verizon customer and have the gobi 1000.

    All are GPS capable.

    not all...
you have to run the serial number thru the lenovo web site and look for part numbers.
