"This Multiple Battery Charger connects two A, T, X, or R series systems batteries to recharge sequentially. It requires 72W AC Adapter or 72W AC/DC Combo Adapter."

I can't get this thing to plug into my t60 batteries! anyone have this and know if that's a typo?!

I was thinking about buying that as well, but I don't think it works with the T60 series (bad description on Lenovo's part / not up to date). The one you want is this one:

    ThinkPad External Battery Charger
    Part number: 40Y7625

Have a second ThinkPad battery charged and ready to go whenever you need it. The ThinkPad External Battery Charger gives you maximum power flexibility by charging a spare battery independent of your ThinkPad system. Works with batteries for R60, T60, X60, and Z60 Series notebooks (Please note that the charger does not support the ThinkPad X60 Series Extended Life Battery , part number 40Y7005). Accommodates a single ThinkPad battery.

    Features and Benefits:

External unit operates independent of your ThinkPad notebook so you can charge a spare battery at any time.
Must be used with the ThinkPad and Lenovo 90W AC Adapter or 65W AC Adapter, which ship with all R60, T60, X60, and Z60 Series notebooks and can be purchased separately.

External unit frees up your ThinkPad notebook so you can continue to work off the system battery while charging a spare battery to increase your unplugged mobile computing time.
Requires the use of the ThinkPad 90W AC Adapter that comes with your ThinkPad Z Series notebooks.
