Does Lenovo still offer a 30 day price match?

I can't find any info on their site. If this is a policy it should be listed somewhere. Maybe I'm missing it somewhere?

Something to keep in mind: whether you pick a component as part of the main system configuration or as an accessory has a huge impact on its part number, even if it is the EXACT same item. So if you buy two batteries, one in the config and one as an accessory, don't make your quote for the price protection with the two reversed or the part numbers won't match, and you will never get them to accept it. Even though it is the exact same configuration. You can tell that I'm bitter because I've been calling and emailing for two weeks trying to get a manager on the line, as I think this is borderline deceptive business practice.

    According to Lenovo Sales:

"Please be advised of our Price Protection policy. We allow Price Protection up until 21 days after the date of invoice. We ask that you create a quote on our website using the exact same configuration as your order. Then send us the quote and we will send in a request for Price Protection. If it is approved, we will credit your account the difference in price."
    ----------
"Please note that Lenovo does not have an official price protection policy, it is treated by us as a courtesy. Lenovo offers price protection within 21 days of the invoice date of the order as a courtesy. If you find a lower price for an identically configured system, feel free to create a quote for that system with the better price. You build a quote the same way you build an order, but instead of selecting the option to checkout, choose "save as quote". This will generate the number you need to send to us after your order has shipped. After we receive the quote number, we send it for processing and review. If the quote is deemed identical to the original order, you will be credited for the difference in price."

I just got my credit for the price match on my T61 and saved $300. To bad it isn't 30 days, I would have saved at least $550.

    Who me worry....
