Hi. I'm trying to buy Thinkpad R400 from Ebay. The one which I've found have Intel Core 2 Duo T6570 processor inside but I've noticed "Intel Centrino Inside" sticker on it. Is that normal? Notebook is 6 months old. Thanks

instead of centrino 2?
-
it's "intel centrino inside"

One more question. Is the T6570 support Virtualization Technology? Intel Processor Identification Utility says it does http://downloadcenter.intel.com/download.aspx?url=/7838/eng/pidenu22.msi&agr=N&ProductID=1881&DwnldId=7838&strOSs=All&OSFullname=All+Operating+Systems&lang=eng

i mean, instead of a centrino 2 sticker?
all centrino means is that it has a non-celeron (and nowadays non-pentium) intel cpu, an intel chipset, and an intel wifi module. it doesn't say anything about the actual specs
re vt : if intel says so, then yea. who knows intel cpu's better than intel? -
So if notebook have got Core 2 duo processor inside doesn't mean have to have "Core 2 Duo Inside" sticker on it? It might be "Centrino Inside" as well as "Centrino 2 Inside". Is that right? Sorry but I want to be sure before I'll use "Buy it now". Thanks

A Core 2 Duo T6_70 series should have VT if you go by the naming scheme Intel has to denote cpu's which have VT enabled among the lower end 6 and 7 series C2D's.
