My thinkpad (R52) has sudden problem from few weeks. After about 30-45 minutes usage, the system going blank and even if I restart also it is not getting started immediately. After about 1 hour when I restsrt it starts but the same problem.

Please advise whther it is software problem or hardware problem. Thanks

It sounds to me more like a hardware problem. Check if your laptop is not overheating (ie. check CPU, graphics, and hdd temp) When it switches itself off does the chassis gets uncomfortably hot?

If within the next couple of weeks it starts doing that more often to the point that it shuts down every time it boot it up consider sending it for repairs. I had a similar issue with my T40 and had to send it back to have the motherboard replaced. But my case may as well be different so don't worry just yet
