    Hi,

Just bought a Thinkpad R61i 7742B1A, i'm very much happy with the unit..
They keyboard is great, Sturdy build, and nice performance.. (although i didnt like the vertical USB) but i got this at a very nice price, but is the R61i really came with only a 4 cell battery? I wonder what others who have the same unit got.

All widescreens laptops has 4 cell not unlike old 4:3 Thinkpads with ship with either 6 or 9 cell batteries. I'm sure you can upgrade your 4 cell battery to something bigger. How is the battery life with the 4 cell?

Not all widescreen laptops have 4 cells. It depends on the model and manufacturer.
