Lenovo contracts with IBM for customer service... that side of the house is still very pleasant to deal with but if you talk to their sales staff it's a mess. It nearly always takes 45 minutes to talk to a person, about 50% of the time you get someone who is rude and completely clueless and if your complaint is about shipping you get lies about 100% of the time.

    Sales Staff = Miserable Experience

Customer Support Through IBM = Still pretty nice

    LOL!

Is that why?! That's really true?

I just posted this counterintuitive observation earlier- most companies, it's the other way around. I couldn't believe how long it takes to get through to sales, and how RIchard-Holish they are, compared to instantly getting through to NICE and PROFESSIONAL and COMPETENT customer service.
