So this is the second try. Hopefully it will accumulate some serious data. Unlike the similiar poll for users of the T400, this is for all who own any Thinkpad T series laptop (T400 included). Please do not submit your vote if you own one from other series like R, Z, X, an IdeaPad or anything else from Lenovo, and dog forbid other manu****turer.

I apologize that I did not think throughly when posting poll the first time, so it was of little usability. I made up for it by spicing up the options this time, hehehe.

It is about which OS(es) you run AT THE MOMENT, not yesterday or tomorrow, or which you would like to run, or which you would like your children to run.

As you can see from the options this poll is weird. You check multiple options - all that apply, not only one option per OS you run, but I mean any option that applies. We shall see how this turns out ;-) For instance if you run Windows Vista x64, you check "Windows", "Windows Vista" and "x64". Likewise if you run a Ubuntu x64 you check "GNU/Linux", "Ubuntu" and "x64". If you run several OSes, check any option that applies for any of these. If you run Windows Vista x64 and Windows XP x64, obviously you will not be able to check "Windows" and "x64" twice, and you will have both "Windows Vista" and "Windows XP" checke - overall it is still good poll data nevertheless. If you run Windows times two like that, one can still identify you by the vote sender, so one sees that it is a multi-boot setup.

P.S. Moderators, can you please remove the other similiar thread by me, posted same day? Tanks.

Windows XP Professional SP 2 Dutch

-it's 32 bit (who cares with 2 GB RAM?)
-it didn't come with my ThinkPad
-I wish it did come with my ThinkPad

I have a ThinkPad T61 7664-16U with 1GB extra RAM added.

It came with Vista Business 32 bit, wich ran slow as [...] and consumed batterypower as if it were salt water.

The guy at the Microsoft activation line told my that it was fine I used my Windows XP of my desktop a second time because I would then have a unused Vista license. What the heck, if he says so. :p

On my two notebooks I run Vista Business. On my desktop computer I run XP Pro. I actually prefer Vista over XP...

Can I ask what are you going to do with the data?

Dual boot Vista-Ubuntu x64. I am just a tinkerer, and will likely eliminate Ubuntu soon. I too, actually like Vista. My hardware runs it well, and all my software is compatible. I have no complaints. And, I would be interested in what you are going to do with the data as well. Just curious...
