    Thinkpad T400 - memory not DDR3???

    I just received my T400 this week. I used Everst Ultimate 4.6 and CPU-Z to scan the hardware setting, but both of them showed that the memory is DDR2, rather than DDR3 I ordered.

    Could owners of T400 confirm, or it is just mine??? Thanks!

    AFAIK, these tools don't see DDR3 memory right. I'm almost 100% certain that you do have DDR3 :)

    Welcome to post number 4983983 on this exact same issue. The previous post is correct and I am 100% sure that you have DDR3.

    You should be concerned...because after all they can make a fully customized DDR2 supporting T400.....just for you!....Congrats! :D
