    I am going to purchase a thinkpad T400 at a store in my country, but i can't discriminate between the refurbished and brandnew thinkpad T400 laptop

    Please help me to discriminate!

    Jaymasta answered your question. There really is no way that you can tell if it's brand new or refurbished unless the seller specifically tells you.

    Because in my country very easy to be deceived, and maybe i will buy it from another friend so i want some experience :confused:

    I need some detail : such as picture, specification of serial number or anything else...
