    Thinkpad T400: What is the fast&best SSD to upgrape my t400?

    My laptop got 8GB. I now want to upgrade HDD to SSD. Any recommendation one? I want the fast one..The best one as well :)

    I'd personally stick with Samsung or Intel SSDs. T400 is SATA 2, so it honestly doesn't matter because SATA 3 SSDs will just run at their rated SATA 2 speeds.

    You'll get a variety of opinions regarding this particular issue, but my suggestions would go along the lines of Samsung 840 Pro (or 830 if you still can find one brand new). Crucial M4 would be there as well.

    Do bear in mind that your board is limited to SATA 3.0 transfer speeds, though.
