The generalizations about the NVS line are you are making just arent entirely true in this case. Yes they have lower end parts, but they have uncrippled flavours as well. For instance, the G84M NVS320 is actually FASTER than the G96M Quadro FX 770M. Right there is an example where the NVS line is faster than the Quadro FX equivalent. Regardless, that is moot because there is no way a T510 and a W510 will have exactly the same graphics adapter.

To Serg--Someone suggested earlier that they could be based on the GTX216 or GTX215 core. I suspect its the former (its actually slower than its lower named brethern). Of which there will be different configurations of memory/shaders/clockspeed. Like I said earlier, it's my suspicion that the common NVS3100 name (between T4xx T5xx W5xx) is just an indicator of shared GPU generation (the point i tried to make when I brought up the T61/p example).

I hate the nVidia rebadging and rebadging and renaming. So damn frustrating to talk about one GPU and take all day on just sorting out which GPU is related to which and which family is the same as one another. Tiring.

Agreed. I hate how they can get away with renaming old technology and turn around and sell it as brand new. Right now with the whole nvidia issues over the past 2 or so years is the closest I have been to being brand loyal in my whole life.

Yeah i know, and that my 570M (8600M GT) theoretically puts out about as much power as the 230M which is good to know considering it runs the Dirt 2 Demo fluently even on the higher end of medium settings at 20-30 FPS.
